In late 2017, Air NZ embarked on a project to redefine our onboard customer experience.

Through a design led approach, customer centric product design and a collaborative working environment at Hangar22,  the Future Aircraft Cabin Experience began to shape a portfolio of product enhancements, 18 months of research, customer testing and ideation, 1 year of supplier selection and product specification, 4 years of design and engineering have manifested into a cabin interior that reflects Air NZs brand promise of Manaaki – Taking care further and has delivered products and experiences that exceed our core customer needs.
