Background
The Graphics Forum is a series of events that presents topics of interest for graphic designers including tools and tips that keep you informed and up to date on the latest design trends and best industry practice, presented in an informal environment.
This workshop is designed to encourage your inner hand-lettering artist, and will include collaborative type drawing. Participants will leave the workshop with information about materials and techniques and at least two pieces of finished work.
Instruction will be given in techniques and specialist materials, with plenty of chance for playful experimentation.

Sarah Maxey
Sarah Maxey’s distinctive work has graced publications worldwide, including the New York Times and many literary books. She worked for Bloomsbury Publishing in London in the mid-90s, and has run her own studio since. She has won numerous awards, including the 2011 Best Design Awards Purple Pin and a Certificate of Excellence from the International Society of Typographers.
