Andy Grigor DINZ, Methven Global Design & Innovation
Methven set out to understand their customers better than anyone else and embarked on an exploration into daily habits and routines.
They discovered that everyone is different with different habits, routines, and needs.
Inspired to create an experience which adapted to your changing needs or mood, their challenge was not only to create a new experience but also to combine this experience with sustainable water use and manufacturing processes.

M10 Bed
Three key avoidable harms occur within the medical bed environment: patient falls; pressure injuries and cross infection. The project mission was to design a new bed which reduced the risk of these avoidable harms.
Simply put; Howard Wright had to design the safest medical bed.

Suzi AI Pig is a Clinical skills training manikin configured here to teach artificial insemination techniques.
Practice makes perfect because if you get it wrong, it hurts! A badly inseminated sow won't let anyone inseminate her again, forcing your prize sow to become bacon.
Philip Horner, DINZ
Delicately proportioned, modern in style, with an elegant nod to a more retro era.
A truly contemporary and functional design which pays respects to traditional craftsmanship.
